This is a special scheme designed for your convenience wherein you can avail the loan by pledging your gold ornaments for any general purpose or expenditure.

Quantum

With Effect from 01.06.2020 an amount of Rupees. 2800/- per (net) gram of sovereign gold (22 carat) up to maximum of Rs. 20,00,000/-, is sanctioned per individual borrower against pledge of gold ornaments with an Interest of 11% per Annum

Repayment Period

Gold loans up to Rs. 2 lakh : One year with interest payable monthly at the end of every calendar month and principal within one year.

Gold loans above Rs. 2 lakh: Repayable in equated monthly installments over a period of one year or more upto maximum of three years depending upon income source and quantum of loan.

Security

Pledge of gold ornaments/ jewellery. Gold coins are accepted but not bullion.
