The minimum tenure of this deposit scheme is 15 days and maximum tenure is 181 days. Upon maturity, the deposits are renewed automatically for the same period with the rate of interest prevailing on the maturity date. This scheme attracts a simple rate of interest and has the provision for premature withdrawal.
